Safe Online Shopping Tips
For a safe and secure
shopping experience please take a moment to read the following tips.
1. Be suspicious of prices that are too good to be true.
2. Always be suspicious of the trades involving gift cards,
specially with members who have little or no feedback.
3. Print or save information and emails about your transaction until
it's complete.
4. Consider taking shipping insurance and tracking information.
5. Check seller/swapper's feedback. Be careful if you see any
negative feedback.
6. Always leave a feedback about your transaction experience.
7. Use PayPal to make online payments. It’s simple, fast, free and
secure method of sending and receiving online payments. You can
start accepting payments only by giving your PayPal id. If you
currently do not have a PayPal account, please visit
PayPal
to create one.
8. We do not recommend sending money through money order, cashier's
check or Western Union. Scammers usually request for these payment
types.
9. If you are arranging a local pickup with someone, consider
meeting in a public place. It is a safer option than inviting
someone at your house who you do not know.
10. Please avoid dealing with people who offer you to buy items that
are not listed on our web site.
11. Avoid any transaction in which buyer, seller or swapper is
outside the United States or ask you to ship items to a foreign
country.
12. Check
the city and zip code on the listing and compare it with the address
seller/swapper has given you to send items to. If these don't match
don't trade and report to SwapBabyGoods.
13.
Exchange phone numbers if that makes you feel more comfortable.
14. Never give your bank account information to anyone. If someone
asks for your bank account information for
direct deposit/wire transfer please do not deal with that user.
Report such activities by sending an email to
customerservice@swapbabygoods.com.
Note.
SwapBabyGoods.com will not be held liable for any bad trade between
the two parties.
