What is swapbabygoods.com?
Swapbabygoods.com is a one of a kind online marketplace for
buying, selling, and swapping baby items that are no longer
needed. Our goal is to provide a platform that brings together
willing sellers, buyers and swappers in an online marketplace,
benefiting everyone involved.

How does it work?
Swapbabygoods.com acts as an online venue for buyers,
sellers and swappers to make deals. They can sell, buy or
exchange only baby related items. In order to use our website
you will be asked to complete the registration process. As a
registered user you can list your unwanted items by selecting an
appropriate category for that item and giving a complete
description of the item along with your asking price or items
you need in return. If you are interested in any item listed on
our website you can contact the seller/swapper by using the
“contact seller/swapper” option in the Item Details page. Once
both the parties have communicated and decided to make a deal,
they are advised to exchange their geographic info, method of
payment, shipment details and any other info outside of our
system solely at their own responsibility. We will not be
responsible for any issues or disputes that may arise later due
to lack of information, miscommunication, fraudulent activity,
non-payment, items lost, items not shipped etc. However, if you
encounter any such incident, we would like you to give us the
seller/swapper’s screen name and item id for such transaction,
so we could take appropriate action on our behalf. But that does
not guarantee that your loss will be covered.

Why am I being asked to register?
All users are required to do a quick and easy registration
that enables us to operate the site and to provide you with the
services you need.

Can I revise my item listing?
You can make changes to your listing anytime within the
activation period, which is 60 days. Items can be revised from
‘MyListings’ page.

What types of files can I upload as an image for my listing?
Your image must be in jpg or gif format and less than 250kb
in size. You can add an image for your item from 'My Listings'
page.

How am I protected against bad traders?
As a swapbabygoods.com user you need to be aware of
potentially fraudulent site activity. We can not offer any
protection. You make deals of purchase or swap entirely at your
own responsibility and we advise you to proceed carefully and be
alarmed if you notice something suspicious. However we take
measures to provide our users with an open and trustworthy
environment to make the deals. We register all our users and
keep all the information in our system and encourage you to use
PayPal accounts for making and accepting payments.

How long will my listing be active on swapbabygoods.com?
Your sale/swap listing will be active for 60 days. However, you can
edit or inactivate your listing at any time within 60 days by going
to ‘MyListings’ page. Inactive listings will only be available
for 30 days under "My Inactive Listings" page. Wanted or
Mommy Item listings will be active for 30
days.

Is my info safe?
Your
privacy is very important to us, so we want you to feel
completely confident that your name, address, and contact
information will never be sold to ANY other party. We assure you
that any info you post on our website is very safe and only you
have the access to view it and make changes. Also for details

Can I list used items?
You can list both new and used items as long as the item is
in good working condition. We encourage our users to be honest
and very specific in the description of their item.

Are there any items which I can not list?
The following is the list of prohibited items. Such items
could be but are not limited to the following:
- Any item not appropriate for sale/exchange for health, safety
or other reasons.
- Any item that has been recalled by any governmental
authority/agency or by its manufacturer. Non-transferable items.
- Non-packaged food items, and any other expired food or beverage
items.
- All the items which have been damaged or in not proper working
condition.
Any listing
containing prohibited items will be deleted. For more details

How do I leave feedback for a member?

Can a negative feedback be removed?
Feedbacks are permanent and cannot be removed. In some cases a
negative feedback can be removed if both the parties involved in
the transaction request to do so by sending an email to
customerservice@swapbabygoods.com.

How do I remove or delete a listing?
1. To remove or delete a listing log on to your account with your
email address and password.
2. Go to "My listings" page from the top menu.
3. On "My Listings" page click on the Item ID of the listing you
would like to remove or delete (this will take you to another
page).
4. From this new page you can inactivate your listing by
clicking on the "Inactivate Item" button at the bottom.

How do I add an image to a listing?
1. To add an image to a listing log on to your account with your
email address and password.
2. Go to "My listings" page from the top menu.
3. From "My Listings" page click on the "Add/Change Image" on
the listing you would like to add image to (this will take you
to a new screen).
4. On this new screen click on "Browse" button to select your
image from your computer and then click on "Add Image".

I am a registered user, but why can't I successfully login?
If you are using AOL browser you might have login problems. To avoid
this problem please use Internet Explorer, Firefox or Netscape
browser.

My image size is too big. How do I make it smaller?
To make image size smaller open your image on your desktop, then take a screen shot
of your image by pressing "Prt Scrn" button on your keyboard. Then paste it in "Microsoft Paint" or any other imaging
application installed on your computer. After pasting your image just save it as a
new jpg file. The new file will have a smaller size with the same picture quality.

My email address has been changed, how do I update my profile with my new email address?
Members cannot change their email address or screen name. However, if your email address has changed please send a request to
customerservice@swapbabygoods.com and we will update your profile with your new email address.
